Which exchange is actually cheapest, after your rebate, not before it
Chart built directly from the rates in the table below, OKX/Binance/Bitget read 2026-09-04, MEXC/Gate.io/KuCoin read 2026-09-05, nothing redrawn by hand.
A fee comparison that stops at the exchange's own posted rate is only half the answer. OKX's taker fee is higher than MEXC's on paper, but ReturnFee pays back 60% of it, and MEXC's rebate is 50%. This page puts both numbers, the raw fee and the rebate on top of it, on the same page so you can work out your own net cost per exchange.

BTC/USDT perpetual futures, standard tier (VIP 0). OKX, Binance and Bitget read from their own published fee pages; MEXC, Gate.io and KuCoin pulled live from their own APIs. Rates read 2026-09-04/2026-09-05. Gate.io's -0.010% maker is a rebate the exchange pays, not a fee. Gate.io and KuCoin are shown for comparison only, ReturnFee has no referral arrangement with either.
What ReturnFee pays back, exchange by exchange
| Exchange | Exchange's own automatic discount | ReturnFee pays on top | Total back to you |
|---|---|---|---|
| OKX | 20% | 40% | 60% |
| Bitget | 20% | 30% | 50% |
| MEXC | 20% | 30% | 50% |
| Binance | 20% | 20% | 40% |
The exchange's own share arrives automatically, it applies whether or not you ever contact ReturnFee. ReturnFee's own share is paid out of its affiliate commission on the exchange, daily and automatic on Bitget today, manual on request for the others until per-member reporting is wired up there too. This is a percentage of the fee you already pay, not a return on your trading, and it carries no promise about your trading outcome.
What that means in dollars, at the same volume
Take $50,000 in monthly futures volume, entirely at each exchange's own taker rate, before any rebate:
| Exchange | Fee paid | Rebate rate | You get back | Net cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MEXC | $10.00 | 50% | $5.00 | $5.00 |
| OKX | $25.00 | 60% | $15.00 | $10.00 |
| Binance | $25.00 | 40% | $10.00 | $15.00 |
| Bitget | $30.00 | 50% | $15.00 | $15.00 |
At this specific volume MEXC's low raw fee keeps its net cost lowest even at a 50% rebate. OKX's higher rebate rate closes most of the gap against its own higher raw fee. Rework this table at your own volume with the rebate calculator, the ranking can change as volume changes because the rebate is a percentage, not a flat amount.
